Antigua Sailing Week is considered to be one of the top five regattas in the world. Broadsword Communications handled the PR for four years until it resigned the account in 2005.

Broadsword created and oversaw the full media program for the event, responsibilities included: managing the PR budget and resources; prioritising and responding to a variety of media requests; organising the press briefing and registration; drafting and distribution of pre-event press releases; providing on-site PR services including drafting and distributing daily reports and press releases; distributing photos for media use; coordinating the daily updates of two web sites and running the press office for the duration of the event.

Broadsword generated substantial international media coverage included use of the photos taken by Broadsword founder, Alastair Abrehart.
